We’re now on the brink of a physical revolution, powered by the digital revolution. 3D printers, robotized logistics and connected devices are parts of this trend.

When will begin to talk about the bandwidth of physical things? By that I mean physical distribution speed in “grams per second”, similar to the computational “bits per second”? This could apply either to the output of a 3D printer, or the capacity of a delivery drone (such as the Amazon Prime Air).
