Mission Impossible (1996)

I consider Tom Cruise’s first Mission Impossible movie to be a masterpiece.

• Having several known actors (Emilio Estevez, Kristin Scott Thomas) killed off in the first act is a genius move - it keeps the audience on its toes for the rest of the movie.
• Vanessa Redgrave’s “Max” is an amazing character!
• Both the Langley burglary and the train/helicopter chase are milestone action movie scenes.
